This stage design transformed a domestic space into a visual representation of two characters' emotional and psychological states. Rather than creating a realistic living space, I designed a symbolic environment that embodied the chaotic yet nurturing relationship between the protagonists. Everyday objects were intentionally exaggerated and transformed into visual metaphors, blurring the boundary between physical space and emotional experience. Drawing inspiration from the production's themes of feminism, intimacy, and identity, the set incorporated oversized clotheslines, layered quilts, fruits, rice decorations, and other unconventional elements. Together, these objects created a dreamlike environment where the characters' internal conflicts became visible through the space around them.

Beyond the creative direction, the project required extensive logistical planning and resource management. Working within a limited budget, I sourced and assembled props while adapting the design to the venue's strict installation constraints. To ensure a smooth production process, I developed a detailed build schedule that enabled the entire set to be constructed efficiently within a one-hour setup window. Color, texture, and material selection played a significant role in reinforcing the production's feminist themes. A palette of pink, red, orange, and warm earth tones helped establish a soft yet emotionally charged atmosphere, while flowers, silk fabrics, decorative lighting, and domestic objects introduced a sense of tenderness and romanticism. The final production successfully ran for five performances, creating an immersive environment that supported both the narrative and emotional experience of the audience.
